11 November 2020

((Bulletin issued by the Al-Quds Unit at the Ministry of Waqf and Religious Affairs – Gaza, and the Department of Al-Quds Affairs at the Palestinian International Ulama’ Association.))

Zionist attacks on the city of Al-Quds and the Al-Aqsa Al-Mubarak Mosque have continued during November and the following attacks happened:

Destruction and assault:

The occupying forces are continuously launching their attacks on the Al-Aqsa Al-Mubarak Mosque which takes place almost every day, while they allow the Jewish Community to carry out their attacks with complete freedom.

In a dangerous development, the colonial authorities gave the mobsters additional time, half an hour during the “night period” attack, between 12:30 and 2:00 instead of 1:30, and this is a condition that threatens the Al-Aqsa Al-Mubarak Mosque because it will change the eastern area From the Al-Aqsa Al-Mubarak Mosque to the Talmud school, as if it were “pure Zionist property”.

Repression, harassment, arrest, and deportation:

The number of children captured by the occupying forces in the Al-Quds since the beginning of the year has reached around 400.

The colonial authorities issued 14 deportation decisions from the Al-Aqsa Al-Mubarak and Al-Quds Mosque.

Demolition of houses and facilities:

The colonial bulldozers destroyed 18 houses and facilities belonging to the Al-Quds community in the villages and neighbourhoods of Al-Quds.

Settlement:

Al-Quds which has been confiscated is faced with a massive Jewish settlement plan, in which the percentage of Arabs does not exceed 12%, provided that the Arab population in the Al-Quds is around 350 thousand people.

The colonial authorities laid out a grand plan in the deprived centre of Al-Quds for years to come, and this project will have a devastating effect and influence on 300 thousand Palestinians in the eastern part of the city. Furthermore, the Israeli municipality in Al-Quds, approved the construction of 108 settlement units in the northern city of Al-Quds, and “The Land Authority Department ” are proposing bids to build 1,257 new settlement units in the “Givat Hamatos” settlement, south of Al-Quds which has been confiscated.

Commercial losses and suffering in the Old City:

The occupiers imposed a total closure and siege on Al-Quds neighbourhoods and markets, and the number of shops closed in Al-Quds increased from about 350 to around 800 units of shops.
